It’s All About Recovery
Let’s face it. Server backup is a means to recovery. Astute Technology Management understands this. That’s why we’ve designed a solution with recovery in mind. We partner with Datto to protect our client’s business continuity, ensure ongoing networking, provide a single source of truth for IT business management, and secure file collaboration and backup. Our recovery tool provides hardware independence, allowing you to get back to work at top speeds, whether disaster strikes a few machines, or your entire facility. Once you’re up and running, our certified technicians will continue to offer expert IT support, working with you to solve problems and identify opportunities, giving you continued peace of mind and the return on investment you expect. It’s one thing to have your data backed up and stored. It’s an entirely different game to have technicians and engineers skilled and able to implement a restoration after a disaster. We have the staff, equipment and expertise to do both. Our competitive monthly fee covers it all so your business can appropriately plan, budget and focus on what it does best. Being locally located in Columbus Ohio means our technicians are at most an hour away from any needed site restoration help.
Backups Every 15 Minutes
You read that correctly. Our server backup appliance takes images of the protected server every 15 minutes. That means you’ll never lose more than 15 minutes of data. We appreciate the speed with which employees are working and inputting data every minute of every day. Losing an hours worth of data multiplied by your entire workforce can equate to measurable losses. Frequent backing up of data also provides very granular restore points.
One of the issues with Cloud only backup solutions is it can take a long time, sometime days, to download all your data so that a recovery can begin. We solve this issue by installing Datto’s backup appliance onsite. This appliance provides local backup storage, handles replication offsite to our harden storage facility and virtually to the cloud. In the event of a disaster it allows the protected server to be brought online as a virtual machine.
A copy of the encrypted backup data is stored on the onsite appliance while a second copy is redundantly stored in the cloud via multiple, offsite, secure data centers located nationwide. Because let’s face it, when people think “disaster” they’re picturing fire, flood and wind. And those things do happen, albeit rarely – thank goodness! And in the event there is a physical disaster, our offsite replication and storage make accessing data immediate.
